Energizer’s Q1 Sales Drop

Personal care segment slides 2.4% for maker of Banana Boat, Wet Ones and Edge.

Energizer Holdings’ first fiscal quarter (ended December 31, 2014) showed that net sales fell 6.8% (down 4.7% on an organic basis) to $1.038 billion. “First quarter adjusted net earnings per diluted share were in-line with our expectations despite significant currency headwinds,” said Ward M.
